Most of us know someone that has successfully battled cancer. We also know someone who has had their life taken by it. In Fall of 2009, my mother was diagnosed with cancer. A meeting with a cancer doctor was scheduled to discuss how to proceed with this vicious disease. Since her English is limited, I had to attend the meeting. It was really draining experience for me.
