Southtowns training rides

It looks like there are no training rides scheduled in the southtowns. I'm hoping that in the future there will be some (maybe in Hamburg?) to accomodate those of us the these parts of town.

10 year old on track to raise $2,000 for The Ride

I would like to share our "story" with you and how my 10 yr old son is on track to raise $2000 for the Ride for Roswell.

looking for ride to Ride For Roswell

Hi,

 

I'm looking for a ride for myself and my bicycle to and from the Ride for Roswell at UB North Campus on June 22nd.  If anyone can help me, that would be great.

Training Rides

It would be VERY useful to know the intensity of the training rides. Useful information would be an estimate of the pace (ie. 10-15 mph, 15-20 mph etc) and is it for experienced, moderate or beginner riders.

The Ride For Roswell is an annual celebration of community support for Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Its core mission is to understand, prevent and cure cancer.

Bike Safety Tips

Drink water all day & eat before you start. We have 13 rest stops where you can rest, get hydrated & grab a PB&J or banana.

Be sure your helmet is resting flat on your head, not tilted up or down. Also be sure the strap is tight enough.Be sure helmet locks securely, fits well & has no cracks.

A-B-C Check- Be sure your bike is in good condition. Check bike tires for proper Air pressure. Check Brakes. Check Chain.
