From the comments looks like it was a good day for many. I was slow getting out the door, so I started later & followed most of the route from Transit on out & back. The wind, fresh oil roads, and apparently not stopping & eating enough wore me down…

Great ride yesterday. Thanks to Maria for snapping some new pics for me to post here and on my RFR site. Shout outs to the ladies I rode with: Char, Kathy, Mary and Maria. I'm psyched for next week's "Real" RIDE! Thanks to the Ride volunteers who p…

Mitch-forgot it is Father's Day. I am "iffy". Teenage daughter want's to make me breakfast...she sleeps late (typical teenager). May or may not be there.

Well, I was clearly the last one to roll into the parking lot this afternoon. Everyone was gone by the time I got back. Definitely a good ride, minus the two flat tires, running out of water, and the wind giving me a hard time. See you on on Thursd…

@ Scott - the starting point is actually closer to St Rita's and Webster so if you're in either the Lake LaSalle or Arena lots you'll see everyone.
June 18
So, just to be clear is the meeting place the Lake LaSalle lot or the intersection of Frontier and St Rita's?

Thank you for that information, Mark.

I plan to attend, but I am training for the 20 mile ride. Do I need to be there to start at 6:30 AM? or will ride start times be staggered as they are for the ride next week?

i might be doing the 30 instead of 20 now but can i still attend? is everyone expected to go the 62 miles?

I am happy to have the opportunity to check out the 62.5 course. It may come in handy as a Ride Marshall.

Just got an e-mail indicating that I'm already pre-qualified since I did the 62 last year. Probably will be there this Saturday. Didn't get through it last week - had old map & didn't know what path to follow for the detour. Glad to see they fixed t…

About The Ride

The Ride For Roswell is an annual celebration of community support for Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Its core mission is to understand, prevent and cure cancer.
The Ride is a year-round fundraising program for the Institute that culminates in a celebratory cycling event every June. It is a safe and healthy day of cycling fun for riders, teams, cancer survivors, and supporters.

The Ride For Roswell offers a distance for any type of rider. Participants can choose to ride from eight routes this year! Either choose a traditional route that starts from Baird Point -- the 100-mile, 62.5-mile, 44-mile, 33-mile, 30-mile, 20-mile, 8-mile routes or The 3-mile Family Fun Route-- You can also join the Extra Mile Club Peloton: only 12-miles from Roswell Park to UB.
If you can't ride that day or want to simply fundraise and join us at the picnic, become a virtual rider!
