The weather looks promising (for the most part). While there is a chance of rain, it seems like a good bet we will stay dry. Depending on conditions, assume 10-20 miles. See you there at 9:00 AM at Alumni C Lot, where the RFR usually starts each yea…

hopefully the weather - and my spokes - hold for this week...

Virtual Rider
Who are you riding for on Saturday, June 26, 2010?
I support Roswell Park Cancer institute because I care about people and I see too many of them impacted by cancer. My reward for working hard for RPCI is to see cancer survivors raise their hands at the start line as poeple of all ages are waiting to start the Ride for Roswell. The drive for me to work harder are the tears when we have a moment of silence to honor those that fought the fight and remain in our hearts and minds. I served for 12.5 years in US Military because I love my country and the people in it. Cancer has taken more people from my country than all of the wars we have ever fought combined.
How many years have you been riding?
8 yearsish
What is your favorite memory of The Ride For Roswell?

About The Ride

The Ride For Roswell is an annual celebration of community support for Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Its core mission is to understand, prevent and cure cancer.
The Ride is a year-round fundraising program for the Institute that culminates in a celebratory cycling event every June. It is a safe and healthy day of cycling fun for riders, teams, cancer survivors, and supporters.

The Ride For Roswell offers a distance for any type of rider. Participants can choose to ride from eight routes this year! Either choose a traditional route that starts from Baird Point -- the 100-mile, 62.5-mile, 44-mile, 33-mile, 30-mile, 20-mile, 8-mile routes or The 3-mile Family Fun Route-- You can also join the Extra Mile Club Peloton: only 12-miles from Roswell Park to UB.
If you can't ride that day or want to simply fundraise and join us at the picnic, become a virtual rider!
