I am nine years old and I have been riding since I was two years old. This year was the first year I road my own bike. In the past years I have road on the back of my dad's (
Mark Greenfield) bike on a trailer. Before I was old enough to that I would be in a bike seat on the back of my dad's bike.
I ride in memories for My dog Rafe, My Grandma Connie and My Grand Aunt Margaret. I also ride for survivors like My Grandma Diane and My Aunt Lynn. I ride for these people and dogs because the money I help raise will help scientists find a cure for cancer.

This past year I volunteered at the pledge party. I helped by stuffing the bags with paper and putting the correct sized t-shirt in the bag. I also helped the day before the ride by helping my dad move a big screen from Capen Hall to one of the small blue tents. On the day of the ride I did a lot of things. I helped someone sell Y Roswell T-shirts. I also rode on the day of the ride. I did the three mile ride. So if you want to ride but you also want to be a volunteer you can do both. I hope next year in 2010 that I can do even more volunteering.
I discovered The Ride For Roswell when my dad started to ride. I wanted to keep going after my dad let me try for one year. I loved to bike ride so my dad said this would be the perfect fit for me to help the world because when I was little I wanted to prove that no matter your size you can still help the world and I am still trying to prove that now. This is why I ride so you should too.
