About 11 years ago now, my aunt (who was also my godmother) was diagnosed with stage IV colon caner. At the time, I didn't understand what that meant, or the severity of her condition. I hadn't really heard about cancer before. Being a kid, I made light of everything and assumed it was a sickness that she would get over in no time. The Ride For Roswell is an annual celebration of community support for Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Its core mission is to understand, prevent and cure cancer.
Drink water all day & eat before you start. We have 13 rest stops where you can rest, get hydrated & grab a PB&J or banana.
Be sure your helmet is resting flat on your head, not tilted up or down. Also be sure the strap is tight enough.Be sure helmet locks securely, fits well & has no cracks.
A-B-C Check- Be sure your bike is in good condition. Check bike tires for proper Air pressure. Check Brakes. Check Chain.
