Hey everybody, Any ideas would be great. Small steps we are taking is no more food or beverages at meetings unless donated. Terry also suggested reducing our paper at meetings by holding conference calls and NetMeetings so you can sit at your desks while we chat. Any small ideas...or big ideas would be a great help!

Lynsey - it might help if people knew what some of the things are that you're looking to reduce. Many people may not be sure what gets donated to the Ride and what we pay for. Can you give us a few areas to concentrate on, then maybe a few more areas in a week or two?

What about logistic items or the rest stops. We spend so much time running around getting supplies for the rest stops and riding marshals...any companies out there that have ready assembled packs for the marshals that we could approach. Or first aid packs for the nurses at the rest stops.

About The Ride

The Ride For Roswell is an annual celebration of community support for Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Its core mission is to understand, prevent and cure cancer.
The Ride is a year-round fundraising program for the Institute that culminates in a celebratory cycling event every June. It is a safe and healthy day of cycling fun for riders, teams, cancer survivors, and supporters.

The Ride For Roswell offers a distance for any type of rider. Participants can choose to ride from eight routes this year! Either choose a traditional route that starts from Baird Point -- the 100-mile, 62.5-mile, 44-mile, 33-mile, 30-mile, 20-mile, 8-mile routes or The 3-mile Family Fun Route-- You can also join the Extra Mile Club Peloton: only 12-miles from Roswell Park to UB.
If you can't ride that day or want to simply fundraise and join us at the picnic, become a virtual rider!
