What do you think might be some innovative ways to fundraise that would be popular in the current economic environment. I was thinking about having a flea market or community rummage sale??? Does anyone think that something like this would work? Other thoughts??

A rummage sale could work. People are always looking for ways to get rid of old stuff, and riders could divide the proceeds amongst them if they agree to volunteer that day. I went to a similar event last year that one of the car dealerships put on.

What about ebay auctions?? Can we sign up the alliance in ebay as one of the charities? Someone from the staff team would need to do this. It is worth a shot!! Here is the link for information.

About The Ride

The Ride For Roswell is an annual celebration of community support for Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Its core mission is to understand, prevent and cure cancer.
The Ride is a year-round fundraising program for the Institute that culminates in a celebratory cycling event every June. It is a safe and healthy day of cycling fun for riders, teams, cancer survivors, and supporters.

The Ride For Roswell offers a distance for any type of rider. Participants can choose to ride from eight routes this year! Either choose a traditional route that starts from Baird Point -- the 100-mile, 62.5-mile, 44-mile, 33-mile, 30-mile, 20-mile, 8-mile routes or The 3-mile Family Fun Route-- You can also join the Extra Mile Club Peloton: only 12-miles from Roswell Park to UB.
If you can't ride that day or want to simply fundraise and join us at the picnic, become a virtual rider!
