Event Description

A training ride held on Grand Island in order to simulate the actual ride.  Will be biking the 20 mile ride around the island along and depending on who attends, can bike it again. If we have a number of beginners who feel that 20 miles is too far, we could have someone lead the alternative 12 mile route that will be offered on ride day. Offer your opinion on which route(s) would be the best for those coming.

*Please note that we have changed the location of this training ride to the Holiday Inn.  There is a triathlon going on during the day from Beaver Island State Park.

It looks like we will have decent weather tomorrow morning. As indicated above, we have changed the location of the start of the ride because there is a triathlon going on during the day from Beaver Island State Park. In order to avoid any conflict with the triathlon, we will meet at the Holiday Inn and ride out from there. Depending upon who shows up, we will decide how far and at what speed we will ride. If we have enough people, we can split up into two groups – one slower and one faster. We will just have to see what the day brings. If you need to reach me, please contact me on my cell phone 716-445-2006.
